Suncheonman Bay Wetland and Suncheonman National Garden are two different places 7km apart. One garden ticket covers both on the same day, and the SkyCube connects them.

Suncheonman Bay Wetland
Tidal flats, seablite, dense reed beds and a wintering ground for hooded cranes. In 2006 it became Korea's first coastal wetland registered under the Ramsar Convention, and its S-shaped channel is one of the country's ten great sunsets. Wetland website →

Getting between them
SkyCube Garden Station is near the West Gate. The SkyCube is only for garden visitors (round trip ₩8,000 for adults), and SkyCube riders take the reed train for free. Closed Mondays.
Sunset and the last ride back
Leave-by times include queues (10 min per queue on weekdays, 30 min for the SkyCube on weekends and holidays) and both last rides. Days you can watch sunset from the reed deck for 10 minutes and still get back: weekdays Oct 21–31 · weekends and holidays none. From Yongsan Observatory (about 2.2km each way from Mujingyo): none. If your car is at the garden, plan how you’ll get back after sunset.
Tickets

Where to start
- With half a day, focus on the garden. Seeing all 24 gardens is about 6.1 km of walking.
- The wetland’s S-shaped channel is famous at sunset. Cross before the last SkyCube from Garden Station (18:00, Mar–Oct), and check the table above for the way back.
- Going on to the wetland? Enter at the West Gate — the SkyCube station is close.
- Turn on “Add Suncheonman Bay Wetland” in the app: it fits queues, last rides and heat, and leaves the wetland out when it can’t.
FAQ
Are Suncheonman National Garden and Suncheonman Bay Wetland the same place?
No. They are 7km apart. The wetland is a Ramsar-listed coastal wetland; the garden was built on the city side to protect it.
Do I need a separate ticket?
No. A garden ticket also covers the wetland on the same day. Evening tickets do not.
How do I get from one to the other?
Take the SkyCube (about 12 min) from Garden Station to Suncheonman Station, then the reed train (7 min) to the wetland entrance (Mujingyo). On busy days the queue for the SkyCube back can be 30+ minutes (operator’s note). The last SkyCube leaves Garden Station at 18:00 (Mar–Oct) or 17:00 (Nov–Feb).
When does the wetland close?
18:00 in Nov–Feb, 19:00 in Mar–Apr and Sep–Oct, 20:00 in May–Aug. Ticket sales end an hour earlier.
