FAQ

When is the 2026 Suncheon Bay Reed Festival?

The dates are not announced yet. The 26th ran Nov 1–9, 2025 and the 25th Oct 26–27, 2024. Notices appear on the wetland website.

When do the reeds look best?

Visitors most often say early to mid-November. Some years the festival dates and the peak do not line up.

Does a garden ticket cover the festival?

Yes. One ticket gets you into Suncheonman Bay Wetland the same day. Evening tickets do not.

How long does Yongsan Observatory take?

It is 2.2km each way from Mujingyo Bridge — about 66 minutes there and back at an adult pace, or 1 h 20 min with 15 minutes at the top.

Can I watch sunset and still take the SkyCube back?

Only on Oct 21–31 (weekdays) from the reed deck. Otherwise you have to leave before sunset, so drive to the wetland car park if sunset is the plan.

Where do I park?

At the wetland’s own car park, 7km from the garden car parks. It fills up on weekends and towards sunset.
