Follow the spiral path to the top of Bonghwa Hill and the whole Lake Garden fits in one view. Best around sunset and after the lights come on.

- The curves of the lake and hills from the top. Many say it's better from above than below
- Benches by the lake are nice for a break
- Tulips in spring, roses and lilies in early summer, silver grass and cosmos in autumn

- Climb Bonghwa Hill all the way up the spiral path. The summit panorama is the top photo spot

Good to know
- Wide open, so almost no shade in midsummer. Bring a hat or parasol
- Close to the East Gate. If the Lake Garden is your goal, East Gate parking is easiest
Take the spiral path on Bonghwa Hill all the way up. You only see the Lake Garden's shape from above.
